A FAMILY TRADITION CONTINUES AT HOME
Kristin Engler welcomes you to The Home Restaurant pouring the same love into your cup that her mom Barb Lugbill did since 1993 when she took the restaurant over. Before that, The Home Restaurant has always been family owned, all the way back to 1912 when they first opened their doors. People here have always respected delicious, mouth-watering food that is wholesome, affordable and served in a friendly family atmosphere.
Making you feel at home is our number one goal here, we want to make sure you feel at home every time you pull up a chair and sit down to the best all-American food in Northwest Ohio.
WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT COMING HOME
Breakfast is what we’re known for, but rest assured, we don’t stop making you feel at home just because time marches on. We do serve breakfast all day. From piles of fluffy pancakes drowning in syrup to farm fresh eggs, crispy bacon or savory sausage. We source locally too, so those eggs came from a farm right down the road, so did the cream in your coffee and meat on your homemade biscuit and the bread on your sandwich.
Breakfast is just the start of our menu. Our soups, salads, and sandwiches are perfect for a leisurely lunch or a quick bite. And for dinner, favorites like our savory boneless pork chop, golden-grilled chicken breast, or Beef Manhattan will remind you why you always come home. Visit the third Thursday of every month and you’ll enjoy the best barbecue this side of the Mississippi! No, it’s not fancy. It’s all just plain delicious.
